When disaster strikes, community matters more than ever—and at LaunchPad, we believe in showing up when our neighbors need us most.
Following the devastating July 4th floods in Central Texas, our team had the opportunity to support recovery efforts in Liberty Hill, a city just 30 minutes from our headquarters. The need was immediate and personal, and we were honored to serve alongside Mayor Crystal Mancilla, a former AvantGarde team member and now a powerful local leader who has been working tirelessly to care for her community.

Volunteers came from near and far to help with the clean-up. One small business owner from Fredericksburg even left her farm to lend a hand—proof that when Texans are called to action, they show up.
Among the families we supported was a resilient couple, both survivors of the foster care system and one a military veteran. Their strength and humility moved us deeply. In the weeks following the initial clean-up, LaunchPad returned to help them again—this time, with materials and support to rebuild an electric fence for their beloved horse, Jr., whose space had been damaged in the flood.

It was a special moment for our team, made even more meaningful by the presence of our youngest helper, Bella, who brought joy and light to a family in the middle of rebuilding.
Moments like these remind us why LaunchPad exists—to step in when others step back, to lift up the underserved, and to be part of real, lasting change in the lives of everyday people.
To the families of Liberty Hill, to the volunteers, and to leaders like Mayor Mancilla—thank you for reminding us of the strength that lives in community.
This is what LaunchPad stands for—compassion in action, and a relentless commitment to serving those who need it most.
