Investing in Youth Leadership with Shine Your Light Camp

LaunchPad The Center believes meaningful impact begins by creating spaces where young people feel supported, encouraged, and empowered to grow into confident leaders. Through community partnerships and youth-centered programming, we are proud to support initiatives like Shine Your Light Christian Youth Leadership Camp, an experience dedicated to helping students strengthen their confidence, faith, leadership, and sense of purpose.



Founded by speaker, author, educator, and youth mentor Evelina Solis alongside her daughter and youth leader Hope, Shine Your Light serves incoming 6th–12th grade students from New Braunfels and surrounding communities. The multi-day camp brings together students from a variety of educational backgrounds for leadership workshops, mentorship, team-building activities, public speaking, worship, and purpose-driven discussions designed to help youth grow personally and spiritually.



Programs like Shine Your Light play an important role in creating safe, encouraging, and growth-centered environments where students can build confidence, develop leadership skills, and form meaningful connections. Through the support of community partners, volunteers, and sponsors, the camp continues to provide opportunities, resources, and scholarships that make the experience accessible to students and families across the community.
